Clarksdale Semi-Fixture Robert Plant along with The Delta Bohemian and many others visited the New Roxy this past Wednesday night where we heard one of our favorite duos, Lightnin’ Malcolm and Cameron Kimbrough. Enjoy the raw videos showcasing their amazing talent.
Each major festival in and around Clarksdale brings with it the possibility to experience the coolest, outdoor venue for music with a bohemian vibe… anywhere! The new life being injected organically into the NEW ROXY, a historical site in Clarksdale, is the brainchild of Seattle native and Clarksdale Semi-Fixture Robin Colonas.
Robin acquired the dilapidated, abandoned and long ago forgotten structure in 2009 and has been transforming it over time into what it is today. But what it is today may not be what it is tomorrow. Robin takes whatever time and money afforded her to travel here and breathe freshness into her iconic edifice for the enjoyment of herself and others.
