Last October, we visited Sean Bad Apple‘s Helena pop-up bar during the King Biscuit Blues Festival (KBBF) and found it totally enjoyable. The whole idea of a pop-up is trending in Helena. The rivertown recently played host to their very first, successful pop-up restaurant. Go Helena!

They are continuing with the same pop-up trend, only this time craft beer, southern liquor and live music will be the theme. You are invited to the BAR-NØNE: A Pop-Up Watering Hole on Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Downtown Helena, Arkansas beginning at 5pm, featuring Cathead Vodka, Four Roses Bourbon, and craft beer by Ozark Beer Company and Stones Throw Brewery. The Reba Russell Trio will entertain. And if you get hungry, food trucks by Waffle Wagon and The Southern Catfish will be curbside.

The event is being held in partnership with the KBBF but headed up by the progressive Helena Advertising & Promotion group. Proceeds from what should be quite a party will all go towards this year’s KBBF!
