I just can’t help talking like my friend, Clarksdale’s friend and friend of Blues lovers the whole wide world over, Charlie Musselwhite. Charlie regularly refers to the whole wide world, and I do believe XRDS.FM is the greatest radio station in the whole wide world, and “I ain’t lyin,’” another Charlie phrase. And, I ain’t!

Brainchild of Clarksdale developer Charles Evans and KRUSH FM’s beast of a DJ, Bill Bowker, non-profit XRDS.FM offers 24/7 Blues, Roots and Americana music broadcast commercial free right here in the birthplace of the Blues—Clarksdale, MS. One can hear multiple genres seamlessly integrated into a fantastic playlist 24 hours a day online at XRDS.FM, or within about a ten-mile radius of downtown Clarksdale on FM 88.1.

On a personal note: I love some blues, am blessed to be able to hear it live 365 days a year in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and now am able to hear it commercial free 24/7 in my Jeep as I give Delta Bohemian Tours. Pre-XRDS.FM, the easily over-stimulated one, that’s me, Chilly Billy, listened to nothing at all while cruising or to nothin’ but Hill Country Blues. Now, it’s XRDS.FM for me. I am known to do a screen capture of up to 20 songs a day that I have never heard or want to go back and revisit.

It’s informative, fun and helps with Sunday Morning Coming Down! I ain’ lyin’!
