Yesterday, Storm Thor blew through the Mississippi Delta. It left sleet, ice and snow in its wake. We are not used to this kind of bitter weather here and I tend to go into a cocoon state, hesitating to venture out. Period.

It got me to wondering what was going on on March 4th and 5th in the past. Poor William and I have thousands and thousands of photographs and footage lying in wait for us to do something with. It just so happened in 2012, Billy had taken two separate Delta Bohemian® Back Road Excursion Tours.

The first day was with me. 😆 The photographs at the beginning of the video were our take away on March 4, 2012. The second part shows videos of alligators in the Mississippi Delta on March 5, 2012, three years ago today. Billy was giving a back road tour to Clark House Inn guests, who happened to also be wildlife biologists. Can you imagine how these tourists/visitors/lovers of the Mississippi Delta felt after this spectacular experience with the Delta Bohemian® himself, Poor William Billy Howell? Well? How would you have felt?

Every day in the Mississippi Delta, every single day, is a day worth taking a Delta Bohemian Back Road Excursion. Even days like today when there is ice and snow on the ground and the temps hover around 10º.

Hey, gotta go. The sun is setting and I don’t want to miss it!
