This is a message to Morgan Freeman. I was not able to find his personal email address so I hope you will forward this to him. I have always admired Mr. Freeman and his acting. I was proud that he has lived in Mississippi. However, after the remark he made that the TEA Party is racist, I no longer have respect for him. I do not particularly define myself as a TEA Party member, but I have attended several TEA Party rallies and the only misbehavior I saw was when the local NAACP organization tried to disrupt the TEA Party rally. Most TEA Party members are patriotic, religious, and love their country and only want the best for their country. I will never again watch another of Morgan Freeman’s movies.
I thought Mr. Freeman may enjoy seeing Mom’s life work, preserving the Delta reagion on canvas for future generations. You can see her Steamboat paintings at http://marionsue.com. I didn’t realize Mr. Freeman’s hometown was on the mighty Mississippi until I watched Trevor McDonald’s, The Mighty Mississippi. Great Documentary. Thanks, Mike
