Watcha Doing this week in and around Clarksdale?

The Clarksdale music scene is now 7 days a week. Remember when we hardly ever had live music in town? We remember. Next music was just on the weekends. It wasn’t too long ago we had to tell tourists, “Sorry, there is nowhere to hear live music on Sundays or Mondays or Tuesdays.”

Thanks to local bars, restaurants and galleries, we can boast live music every night and often with multiple choices of venues. Yeah, baby.

Do you like to shop? Well, this Thursday night (Nov 3rd) from 5-8, downtown retail businesses will be open late for a Clarksdale Holiday Open House. SPECIAL NOTE: Local artist Randall Andrews has informed The DB that he is going to occupy the Gordon Gallery for the night with his DELTA DEBRIS treasures. His collection of art pieces will be $200 and under.

Be sure and wander the streets and visit all the galleries and shops! Buy locally for the upcoming Christmas season and for all your gift giving needs. Support your local businesses.

Shoppers need to eat, drink and be merry so plan to grab a bite and a libation or two or three at one of our local restaurants when you are done. It is a good thing to support one another; it is not a good thing to tear each other down.
