Christon Kingfish Ingram is a “bad boy” to be such a good boy; meaning his always improving guitar skills place him on par with some of the finest guitarists to ever have plucked some strings.
Clarksdalians and visitors from all over the world, who have availed themselves of the privilege of hearing this young man play guitar, bass and even drums at Red’s Lounge, Ground Zero Blues Club, the New Roxy, Shack Up Inn, Delta Blues Room and a host of other venues locally and nationally are familiar with his passion, his skills, and his affability.
The blues sensation has played at the Sonoma to Coahoma Festival in California as well as with the Delta Blues Museum Art and Education Program student band at the White House for Michelle Obama. He is scheduled to be on the Rachel Ray show on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 and is headed to play in France on January 28. This Delta Boy is on a roll and he his paying some serious dues for such a young man.

The Delta Bohemian has hours of footage of this talented young man playing in Clarksdale with numerous local and visiting artists always accompanied by the watchful eye of his loving mother, Princess Pride. Our personal favorite clips are when he was playing with Space Cowboy and the Blues Posse while clowning around with Hollywood, his then 12-year-old drummer, and his buddy Harvell on bass. We also loved when he played with Lucious Spiller and they alternated playing bass and guitar.
