Billy and I relish moments when we get to enjoy meaningful dialogue with others. The two of us rarely run out of things to discuss but we welcome when we can engage in conversation with close friends and/or new friends in an intimate setting. It always blesses us.
On such occasions we like to play recorded music in the background but on this particular night, following a fine meal in our wee home, we enjoyed listening to the real thing.
I had recently purchased an Epiphone and brought it out to show my musician friend, Charlie Musselwhite. Spontaneously he reached for the instrument and began to play. I had no idea he could play guitar. In fact, he told us Furry Lewis taught him how to play back when he was a young man living in Memphis.
Charlie blessed my recording him. Enjoy!
