Que feras-tu? Vous ne savez pas? Eh bien, laissez-nous vous aider. Si vous êtes partout dans le delta du Mississippi et surtout Clarksdale, ont un regard sur certains événements qui se déroulent autour de la ville.
Confused? Don’t be. A group of “Frenchies” passed through Clarksdale this past week on their blues tour through the US. They were piled into two vehicles and having a total ball. The Delta Bohemian encountered them outside of artist Rosalind Wilcox’s new gallery (under construction) on Delta and across from Ronnie Drew’s Bluestown. They are featured in this post. We were inspired to speak French to you on their behalf.
Poor William and Magical Madge spent an evening with Rosalind Wilcox and her beau, Tony Woods, getting a full tour of their magnificent building on Delta Avenue in Clarksdale. Look for an article in the near future which will highlight Rosalind’s work and her plans for the space. Clarksdale has so much potential and we are excited when we see someone take an old building and turn it into something unique and special. There are LOTS more buildings in town that need attention and buyers. Anyone?

Nice shots of Big George @ Red’s. (He still loves to lay down on the floor as part of the show. The challenge is getting his huge, 79-yr-old body back upright!)
