CLARKSDALE, Mississippi
He is originally from Hopson, just South of Clarksdale, a Phi Delta Theta from Ole Miss and he likes to bake cheesecakes. In fact, if you have ever eaten at the Como Steakhouse, his delicious desserts are featured there. Baker Patton is the Cheesecake Baker Man.
Lately, the MS Design Maven has been steady ordering cheesecakes from him, both the full size and the tiny variety, for her various events and as special “happies” for loved ones. Since The Maven, also known as Marilyn Trainor Storey, stays with us regularly in Clarksdale, we have gotten to sample the tempting morsels.
(Hey, Marilyn, you have GOT to stop bringing Baker’s Cheesecakes to the house! Sweets are not on our diet and you know we cannot resist!)
