CLICK MAGAZINE hit the road, Jack, for their new March 2017 issue. Editor Casey Hilder contacted Chilly Billy and requested an unexpected and unsolicited sit-down with Clarksdale’s Delta Bohemians.

In addition to the Up Front Interview with us called “A Delta Bohemian Rhapsody,” they feature Memphis band Dead Soldiers upcoming new CD titled The Great Emptiness, Samantha Crespo, author of 100 Things to Do in Memphis Before You Die, and new good read The Best American Travel Writing 2016 collection edited by Bill Bryson.

More Feature articles explore the arts, culture and scenic beauty of Arkansas, a fashion section called Traveling in Style, and one of my favorites, a piece touting how easy it is to enjoy rail-to-trail cycling through much of the South. (Still dreaming about connecting our towns in the Mississippi Delta with rails-to-trails.)

The publication has an established reputation for covering various events in the Mid-South. In the March 2017 issue they attended the Allie Awards, Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon Appreciation Day, Purre Barre Grand Opening in Olive Branch, Repticon Memphis, Memphis Chapter of the Association for Women Attorneys Banquet (AWA), Cherokee Valley Golf Scramble, FCA Breakfast, Racquet Club Pickup Party and the 28th Annual Soup Sunday.

We are very appreciative to Click Magazine and Casey Hilder for taking the time to interview Chilly Billy and me, to learn about the genesis of The Delta Bohemian® and how we got started in Clarksdale. We were very tickled he included our Top 10 Juke Joint Rules.
