Malachi Montroy is the pen name of Chilly Billy Howell, a Mississippi Delta storyteller, philosopher, author, tour guide, and co-founder of Delta Bohemian.
Born and raised in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Howell has spent decades exploring the culture, history, contradictions, and enduring character of the Mississippi Delta. Through writings, tours, podcasts, videos, and conversations, he reflects on faith, paradox, place, memory, and the lifelong pursuit of Wisdom.
